A 2D hand-drawn action-platformer inspired by Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, Hollow Knight, and Katana Zero
Looks pretty sweet. This is Red Candle Games, a Taiwan-based studio that you may recall hearing about when one of their games had an easter egg mocking Xi. However, I don’t think that episode fully defines the studio - their first game is set during the early phase of the White Terror, Taiwan’s prolonged period of brutal anticommunist martial law.
Hollow Knight plus Sekiro is like catnip for my goopy gamer brain
This is a kinda weird thing to fixate on I guess but I feel like I would be way more hyped up for this game if the main character kept the hat on or something. Their silhouette is just so boring to me and its oddly killing my interest in a game I would probably love in terms of gameplay.
