    Where are these claims of Chinese neo-colonialist debt traps coming from?

    I hear that China is just replacing US exploitative hegemony with their own through Belt and Road but I’ve never seen anything to that effect. Any truth to that, in terms of China exploiting resources in other areas? I don’t really know how to respond to those critiques.

      There’s no such thing lol. The Chinese are known for giving loans with much more forgiving interest rates and timeframes than the IMF. Also ask them for a single example of infrastructure actually being repossessed.
