My first thought as well. Should have called it Diabetes Jelly.
Its probably from the “Gelling sugar”
Jellys are usually made with that stuff.Its basically a mix of Sugar, pectin and lemon acid.
More sugar is obviously not needed here,
but they probably only have the premixed stuff.It was more a “how” question for me. How does one add sugar to sugar?
