Also, is that carpet in the kitchen? Eww.
That’s the kitchen/living room/bathroom/bedroom.
I feel that way about carpet in general, and even rugs. They trap dust and dirt and pollen.
My stairs are carpeted purely for the sake of traction. And also because it’s my parents’ house, so it wasn’t entirely my decision to make.
“My stairs”
“Parents house”
I’m confused, are you young and still living at home, or do you rent an area from your parents that has stairs?
I’m 25, and have my own income and tax filing, but I live with my parents and help out as needed when I’m not at work. I’m kinda tempted to just inherit the house someday.
Right on, that makes sense. I’d probably be living at home if I was 25 in 2023 too. It’s hard to sustain decent housing these days, and boomers have beautiful homes that are 3 sizes too big.
That used to be a thing in the 70s. Or a big rug/mat thing.
Carpeted bathrooms, too. Even more disgusting than you could imagine.
The cardboard carpet is classy.
Pretty sure I saw this one on Vice, can’t find the exact page now.

I saw it on Reddit 😏
What’s Reddit?

No no, you’re thinking of rennet. Reddit is the final section of the large intestine, terminating at the anus.
No no, you’re thinking of the rectum. Reddit is an award given as part of an annual design competition for product design, brand and communication design, design concepts, and others.
No you’re thinking of Reddot. A Reddit is a dessert apple of a variety with a slightly rough, brownish skin.
No, you’re describing a Russet. A Reddit is a small mammal of the order Lagomorpha, known for their long ears and hopping gait.
Every single one I’ve posted is from Reddit. I missed the sub so I created one here. I’m getting it started with poached content (accessed via Dystopia so no ads and I don’t interact at all) to get this community up and running. Hopefully it won’t be long before enough subscribers are contributing here so there’s no need to steal from Reddit.
Is there someone who does this but for actually liveable properties? I tire of the cynicism.
£2000PW right?
It has a companionway, so it’s like a yacht. Therefore, higher rent!
What I love about this is that it looks like the carpet was freshly laid. Otherwise I might try to believe the newly-painted steps were a temporary measure as the place is redeveloped.
Wtf are those wires hanging out.
I paid £110 a night to stay in a hotel with worse wiring than that 😅
That’s a lot of counter space. I’m sold.
Oh my
