It kind of disproves that the palestinians prime motivation is just to kill jews, which is what a lot of people believe and why they view what’s happening in Gaza as justified.

The fact that she got released at all is IMO an indication that the Israeli government is talking to Hamas behind the curtain. All of this death and suffering might actually lead to something. inshallah

I don’t think so. The hostages they’ve released so far are either dual citizens of Israel and another country, or they’re just too old to keep as hostages like these two. Then there’s the fact that these hostages keep fucking up the Israeli narrative that all the hostages are being tortured (or whatever evil shit theyre projecting onto Hamas) by saying they were treated very well.

Once again the truth is inverted, Israel does want to kill as many Arabs as possible.

There’s a reason why when Israel says anything internationally they keep saying that if not for them you’d have another Arab government; Where’s the incentive for Arabs to go along with this? Why would they hear this and think “Yeah, I don’t want another Arab government either!”, unless of course Arabs have no place in these ‘international’ discussions, which is very concerning considering they’re talking about their actual neighbors (and the captives in their open air prison); Arabs who see discussions taking place like this with no ‘international’ pushback against Israel setting the discourse like this should be very concerned. They’re being treated like savage natives instead of people who are supposed to be part of the ‘international’ community with an equal voice and equal participation. Any ‘international’ organization that behaves like this is not an international organization, and the people being talked about are being treated as local fauna.

They guy at the back straight away directed the lady’s daughter to stop asking taking questions once they realised they’ve fucked up.

This may break the Israeli government in the long term. Showing that the hostages are alive and well and that actually releasing them is on the table makes the “no negotiation” position very difficult.
