    The difference between lend-lease then and lend-lease today is that Britain had an empire, which, to simplify, the US expropriated as partial payment for wartime debt. Even then, much of the WWII era debt remains on the books between the US and the UK.

    Today, Ukraine has no such empire, nor does the Zionist Entity. The debt cannot be repaid, but likely only scarcely maintained through ever more brutal oppression and exploitation of the working people in those respective nations.

    That does all track with Yellen’s history of vile hatred for working people.
