I listen to a lot of podcasts about law and stuff and the general consensus, at least where I live, is that capital punishment just doesn’t work the way these LARP’ers think it would but yeah they are all just lefties you know.

I mean what they are actually saying is that if they define the current times as hard, the people living right now are at the very least in the process of becoming hard themselves. So not only do they admit they must have been the ones who created these times, thus they are weak men, they also admit that we must be the strong men.

ASML must be by far the most influential Dutch company right now. I grew up in the region they started in and it grew from a regular company into an enormous mulitnational with a gigantic office park and they just keep growing and growing. The amount of money they have is insane. When they buy houses to put their expats in they regularly bid 70k over the market value and they couldn’t care less.

There has been an increase in military exercise and spending, as well as in war propaganda over here. Seems like they really are expecting something to go down. We might actually see a war happening.

No I understand. The people I organize with won’t ever be my friends I think. They don’t have to be, I have a perfect set of friends myself. It’s not that I dislike them but I guess I just tolerate them and we strive for the same thing, which is nice. We just don’t share the same interests, humour, whatever.

There are cliques within the party, nepotism, smugness, you make it, we have it. There are also very friendly people though so I guess it just boils down to who you organize with and who is close to you.

At the end of the day I am organizing though. And so are they. And we are getting successes. We just need to keep finding ways to co-operate.

There’s a rumour at my place of work about a coworker getting on the list for our party for the upcoming municipality elections, which is a touchy subject for my place of work.

Thing is, I know every party member, both out AND undercover, working at my place and nobody seems to know who it would be. I even scanned our list of reps to see if I recognize anyone but nope. It’s probably a big nothing burger but it’s funny to hear.

Sure, and I hope a thing like that will happen. I guess every communist party at one point has to ask themselves these questions when they have a chance of getting in power. But at the same time being pragmatic should only go to a certain length before you start dropping your ideals and I hope we can prevent that.
