Hey, we’re all happy to do it though, I imagine!

I don’t know why this really got to me, but I started playing Return to Moria and finally started watching “The Rings of Power”. So I was sort of steeping myself in Lord of The Rings stuff.
Then I listened to The Dollop on JD Vance, one of the recent Chapo episodes and now Behind The bastards as well all talking about these rightwing weirdos who all worship Lord of The Rings and Tolkien, and somehow that means you be a TradCath and how all of them think they are the harbingers of a Fifth Age or something.
Absolutely is an offhand comment. Hexbear is where I shit post about my beliefs, knowing that people generally don’t want to be debate lord me over everything.
I promise my views are more nuanced than what I generally present.
It depends on what side of the industry you on. Cushy IT Admin position at a company of half decent computer users where updating Adobe is how you keep your job? Probably a fascist.
Installer working the frontlines and in more customer oriented fields? More lib and leftist.
Funny how having jobs that imply you have power makes people more fash, as if power always corrupts and that corruption usually looks like Fascism.
Hey it could have been a debate pervert over on
I am the only person who believes I should get 1 million dollars a day for no reason. As the rest of the tribe doesn’t think this, it is proof that I am, in fact, the Freeest™ Thinker there is. Now make me dictator.
I finally caught a case of Covid after all this time. Went to a family meet up to meet my new nibling, and to celebrate my dad’s birthday, and it turned out Baby had gotten Covid. I’m mostly over it. But still got the sniffles and a cough. So I guess I’ll play some video games. Gotta finish the last bit of the new Abiotic Factor update.
Absolutely. I just think weed is not a drug that encourages people to become fascist. That may change as it is more accept by wider society, and capitalism continues to co-opt the industry.
This tracks for Nixon.
I am baby vegan myself still. Three months clean. So thank you for this suggestion.
What if the conclusion to his, what I imagine to be 2 hours, lecture on Persian Domination ended with, in that blubbery Nixon Voice, “Thank God those Persian Bastards never took over though, or I wouldn’t be able to enjoy this fine bowl of Cottage Cheese and Pineapple!”
Like it doesn’t make you a reactionary, but I feel that drunk people are way more likely to say reactionary crap, because reactionary thinking is lazy at best.
Listen Nixon was actually correct about the cottage cheese and pineapple thing. I had to try it out after learning that loser ate it every day, and it’s good.
The pineapple adds a sweet and acidic taste to the cottage cheese and meshes well with the texture.
So if you’re a non-vegan or vegetarian, give it a shot.
I know pineapple and cottage cheese is one of the things I will have on my veganversary.
I don’t think that has been working out very well for them.
Still worth noting that the movie was also done by the mangaka as well, so the Movie is more like an Alternative ending, that is technically canon in its own way.
There’s a level of anonymity here where OpSec is up to the user for the most part.
Twitter is much more connected to a lot of people’s actual identities as it was also a space for organizations, businesses and other public figures to post to the general public, with these accounts being run mostly by the public figure themselves, and PR for the really rich people and orgs. As such protections on Twitter needed to be as broad as possible.
All fences are scalable and climbable, but as the other user was saying, it’s good to make that climb harder for the bad actors in this scenario.
