Didn’t watch the entirety yet, but I’d say most of this is pretty tame. Like yeah, I don’t think Russia’s invasion necessarily needs to be cheer leaded, but one can also recognize it didn’t happen for no reason. He also made a point about the Nazis in Ukraine being solidified only because of the war, but I mean…they existed well before that and were instrumental in the creation of Ukraine Post-Maidan Coup. They wouldn’t have been there to begin with had the NATO bloc not emboldened them.
One of the initial points he brought up as well was that there was no organic resistance to the Kiev regime in the DPR and LPR, which is just not true. Is is that surprising that a smaller force aligned with the people who were willing to help them not be shelled every day? Also, he says there was no genocide of ethnic russians in Eastern Ukraine…okay, so killing thousands of people is then okay and people shouldn’t rise up against that? Like nah, Russia and the US are not just two imperialist powers trying to fight it out here. That being said, I’m not going to publicly stage rallies about denouncing Russia, but I’m not gonna go around telling people Russia is great.
