Contrapoints just put out a post reading “Thoughts on I/P” on her subreddit, and as you might expect, it is poopoo dogshit of the caliber you would expect from an enbyphobic white liberal trans woman who gallivants about with Hillary Clinton.
TL;DR Leftists didn’t do anything by protesting the genocide, being anti-Zionist is ‘shrinking the tent’, criticism of Israel is responsible for rising antisemitism, and so on, and so forth. At least she says the word genocide, I guess.

Maybe it is just me but I don’t think most pro-Palestine supporters are against the two-state solution. I think it is impossible with Israel being what it is but I think most people don’t care about Israel’s very existence and the immediate goal is halting the genocide. The discourse around Zionism has been poisoned by hasbara mouthpieces like ADL who have conflated “children should not be killed” with anti-semitism. It is disappointed but expected that she has adopted their framing of the discourse wholesale.
Yeah, I mean, it’s nuanced. If Israel were to start collapsing, they offered a genuine 2 state solution, and (critically) it was something the Palestinian people themselves wanted? I feel like it would be chauvinistic to say they should turn that down. But the point is, I’m not out here saying the 2 state solution is what we should pursue now.
After the events of the past few years, I’m 99 percent convinced that a two-state solution is impossible.
On paper, I have no problem with a hypothetical Israel existing. But the amount of suffering, pain, and trauma that this current iteration of Israel has caused, is just evil on a whole other level.
Israel should consider itself lucky if it’s even allowed to nominally exist, after all is said and done.
I agree but my point is that anti-genocide movement is narrow in scope. In truth any activist movement will never gain traction if its end goal is the erasure of any state, let alone one that is the darling of the US. Current activist movements are mostly trying to get target institutions to stop funding israel’s genocide and this demand is many steps removed from making any assertions about the legitimacy of israeli statehood.
